LEJ helps attorneys and LLPs build thriving, innovative practices while receiving hands-on training, mentoring, and business support. Participants gain access to workspace, infrastructure, and expert guidance while developing sustainable law practices that serve low- and middle-income clients.


Program Structure

  • Module 1: Participants may engage in pro bono work with partner legal aid organizations to build skills and community connections. Training, workshops, and coaching focus on both legal and business fundamentals of starting a solo or small practice.

  • Practice Launch: Participants establish independent practices, begin handling cases in high-need areas, and explore flexible, client-centered fee structures.

  • Module 2: Caseloads expand, and participants receive advanced training and mentoring to prepare for successfully running their practice after completing the program.

  • Comprehensive Support – Includes mentorship, CLE programming, and supplemental workshops on attorney wellness, entrepreneurship, and innovation.


Timeline

The LEJ program runs for 12 months, offering continuous training, mentorship, and practice development support from start to finish.


Cost

Participation fee: $3,600 for the full 12-month program.
